DARPA Lifelog is more well known to me. Cancelled a month before Fuckerberg released Facebook? Has the same intent as the current Facebook features allow? I don't believe in coincidence anymore.
Apple was built from the ground up as an apparatus to be turned against the American people.
If that was true they wouldn't have spent ten years jizzing themselves over NuBus when nobody was making shit for it. They wouldn't have stuck with the 68040 when everyone and their dog was preaching that CISC was dead. They wouldn't have spent half a decade developing Copland only to throw up their hands and say that Nukernel would never ship.
I could go on. Apple was fifteen years of fucking fail, they were a joke in the 90's. The only thing that saved their bacon was hiring Jobs back on so he could tell them that their os was shit, their collaboration with IBM on PPC was being squandered by their insistence on treating it as a premium offering alongside the 68k, and that USB was the next big thing and if they didn't enthusiastically jump on that boat first then they'd be dead in five years.
The only people who have nostalgia about Apple are artsy types who's anodyne use of the platform was limited to Adobe products and so never ran into the crippling underlying design flaws of the Mac OS System 7 kernel which continued to plague it up through OS 9.
And his widow runs The Atlantic. What's your point?
That Apple was built from the ground up as an apparatus to be turned against the American people.
Same as facebook and reddit and twitter.
Sounds a bit tinfoil.
Why would they build Apple up when they can just threaten companies that already exist into complying?
Look at how Xiaomi and Huawei collapsed after US sanctions.
You don't know who Allan Dulles was then.
