Mate, this comes across as a very "NO U" response. The way you keep people "Informed" is instead of having a simple thread title like "Victora Aus, locked down for 6th time", you spin it as "Dan Andrews is the very definition of evil." You're propagating fear, and this isn't the first time. "Aus is finished" "Coup against public" "US of failed cities." These are all threads you've made in the past 2 weeks since joining.
How are you any better than the way MSM spins a story? Propagating fear isn't going to inform people, it's just going to demoralize them like you are.
And the crux of the issue is your first post 3 weeks ago. You come across someone who see's nothing but the black of society, someone drawn out and has been scraped of any happiness they have. That's not healthy which is why I say you need to not focus on the lockdowns.
Yes it sucks it happens, yes you can't see your friends and you need to deal with it. Trudging around in circles posting online about how everything is shit is not an effective coping mechanism. You're going to burn out one day and I won't be able to do anything to help you.
You're basically turning into the Impossible1 except lockdowns and depression.
And take a look at my post history, if I'm a lefty shill, I must be very deep cover for being here for over 9 months.
Look, all anger and theatrics aside, I understand Bamboozler's anger...I really do. Two days ago we had Dan Andrews tweet out a smug "Zero" followed by a snap lockdown for what? 2 cases. What, are we gonna close down every state every time someone gets the sniffles now?
It's hard not to have a fatalistic view point when you're watching people being fined by police even though they have mask exemptions from doctors. You're watching small businesses go out of business because they can't afford rent because not being able to operate during lockdown. You're watching depression rise upwards. You're constantly vilified by media goons for thinking outside of their lines (I know, for us who have been seeing this since 2014, we're used to it...but yeah, still gets tiring)
This marks the 6th lockdown for what? Two measly cases in Melbourne? That's worth shutting down yet again for?
It's honestly hard to find happiness when times are looking pretty damn bleak. I know I've been dealing with this all year. I've mentioned else where that I attempted suicide last year. I've been dealing with trying to find hope all year and I'm still here -- obviously -- trying to cling onto hope. But when you're watching what looks to be the world crumbling around you, it's really hard not to have a doomsday view at time. It's something I struggle with so I know the very pessimistic feeling.
Just saying...it's frustrating at all hell for everyone at the moment in all wakes of life and I think this is a case of someone needing to vent more than anything else. But that's just my take.
Get fucked please, leave us alone so we can "deal with it" how we see fit and we will let you disconnect from social media until September or whatever works for you ok
So leaving you to wallow in misery instead of offering you alternative ways to deal with the stuff that's happening? Can't really do that, cause I try to be a decent person so when I see warning signs of of a person being apathetic, especially in their text, I can't ignore that. Not when they start 3 posts in the span of 2 weeks with the same focus.
Instead of insulting me, maybe you should be trying to help as well instead of reinforcing negative bias.
Us or just you? But it is untimely your choice to be angry and to have it mean nothing but for you to twist yourself up in a mental jumble that will cause you to lash out at your supposed friends.
Do at least try to take your mind off of what's happening, you may be happier for it.

I will pray for you Daniel. I can’t believe the hell you all are going through, and obviously no mention in the media of it.
People have to wake up. The politicians only have the power they are given.

Are you a psychologist? Do you know me? Unsolicited mental health advice to strangers is not 'helping' it's just pissing us off more.
