If an employee has not yet been fully vaccinated, they are required by the company to wear a mask inside the office at all times, including “workstations and common areas,” the memo stated. Unvaccinated employees will also not be allowed to use the kitchen or be present in conference rooms or training rooms
“Until an employee has been fully vaccinated … they will be subject to the requirements above and will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test every 7 days,” the memo said.
If you're in a skill position where you're difficult to replace, find a few other such people and all do the same thing.
No one's irreplaceable, but that doesn't mean a company wants a few high-profile people to all leave at the same time, or that a company can't be thrown into disarray for some period of time while they try to replace those people and ward off a "rats fleeing a sinking ship" scenario. Also affects managers personally if they have bonuses tied to retention metrics.
My company is trying to plan to re-open with similar policies, but they're getting pushback from people afraid of Delta.
Part of me gets a lot of amusement from it: the media working everyone into a frenzy, the government sending such mixed messages about the vaccine, and our Betters trying to make a coherent message out of such incoherence and trying to reopen by being Smart™ but failing because people are still afraid after being worked into a frenzy.
It takes money, but you could have a lawyer draw up a document demanding the company apply their standard to any communicable disease or illness and have their be financially liable and/or write up one saying they are financially liable for any and all side effects resulting from you taking the vaccine.
I 100% support manditory vaccination for all Journalists. Make all politicians get the jab as well. Imagine a world with no journalists or politicians. Would be heaven.
That's literally what this policy reveals to me. There's nothing Conservative about a supposed Conservative outlet kowtowing to the Left's draconian measures.
From the article...
On the plus side: no pointless conferences or diversity trainings for the unvaccinated.
Truth.
Furthermore, just do what you want and make them try and stop you.

As long as they pay for it.
My company is also requiring masks if you haven't been vaccinated. I simply refuse to go to the office.
But guess what? Neither are the vaccinated. There are 2 people who are actually going to the office. That's it.

I support that mandate as well. Watch them drop like flies.

Imagine still holding Conservatism in any esteem whatsoever.
Sad.
