[Warning] This is a shill post for good entertainment.
If anyone is interested in hilarious content making fun of all the woke shit in Hollywood, movies, TV, comics, mostly geek related pop culture stuff, then check out a weekly Youtube show called Friday Night Tights. It's aired on the Nerdrotic channel, run by a conspiracy theorist boomer and former comic shop owner, joined by all his Youtube friends. They're not 4chan tier right wing, but they're definitely worth checking out if you just want to chill and laugh.

I used to follow them until the blowup with Zack Snyder happened.
Snyder came on with Geeks and Gamers and shit all over them and the audience.
The hosts did nothing to defend the audience/ Jeremy defended Zack and shit on the audience for being mad. FNT defended Jeremy and shit on the audience for being mad.
Just another bunch of fucking grifters in it for the fame.
I didn't see a lot of the immediate aftermath of what happened, because I don't follow the Geeks and Gamers channel, but from I remember Gary/Nerdrotic and most of the rest of the FNT crew shit on Snyder a lot, and defended Geeks and Gamers and their fans, especially with how much money they raised for the suicide prevention charity stream. I do agree with you that Jeremy with Geeks and Gamers was way too soft on Snyder, which I think was because he reached out to Snyder in the hopes that it was all a big misunderstanding, but after a few weeks it was clear it wasn't, and they've all come out pretty hard against Snyder since then. They still occasionally talk about it.
The shifting point came a week or so after the incident and they had YoungRippa59 on, who tore into both Snyder and Geeks and Gamers' weak response to what Snyder did.
But, I understand what you're saying. From the comments there were a lot of people that dropped out after that. I just don't think they're grifters. These guys are hard core nerds that really passionate about their stuff, and are really pissed about how badly it's being fucked with by the woke stuff.
Yep, they basically spent the entire show shouting Rippa down and telling him why they were right and he was wrong. It was that exact show that caused me to drop out.
Rippa is a libertardian, but at least he's consistent and, you know, not a flaming pussy.
I don't remember them shouting Rippa down. There was a little contention, but I'm pretty sure most of them agreed with him. I'm subscribed to quite a few of the people on that side of the internet that is in that circle, and all of them came out with videos defending Geeks and Gamers and shitting on Snyder.
I think there's one member of Geeks and Gamers that's a lefty, a black guy that I think mostly covers sports, that somehow ended up running the charity stream when Snyder joined, and agreed with Snyder and ended up shit on their subscribers and ruining the stream? I know a lot of people were pissed about that, and I think a lot of people were pissed at Jeremy for his weak response against that guy.
That’s not what happened at all, I don’t know what reality you were living in at the time. Pretty much every member of FNT was adamant against Snyder, and have been since then. The only member of Geeks and Gamers that defended Snyder was that leftist Uchey or however you spell his name.
" That’s not what happened at all, I don’t know what reality you were living in at the time.
The one where I watched the episode live, in real time, and saw what happened with my own eyes.
Not actually watched it but I do know Itsagundam was on it recently and that guys aways a hoot.
Love these guys. I listen to his podcast the following week. Nerd talk how it used to be
It's definitely nice to hear normal people talking about this stuff, a good break from the more serious political content and news.
Nice to see them getting a shill. These guys are fun and worth playing in the background.
