Someone once told me that Ashli Babbit shouldn’t have been there and should’ve listened to the cops. I asked him why he doesn’t apply this standard across the board. I mean I could say that George Floyd should have followed the orders of the cops. Or Jacob Blake.
I remember in the video the two people in the car telling him to listen to the cops and that he couldn’t win. Floyd aside, that definitely applies to Jacob Blake. I just remember thinking that these are the same people who were demonizing cops but now the Capitol police are brave. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at this point with the lack of consistency in the media.
Didn't the cops offer to take him outside? And he agreed to that offer and complied and went to the ground. Sure he did put up some resistance at the start of it, but he did end up complying in the end...and he also didn't die from the cops actions.
Ms Babbitt was the only one who was killed that day.
But go on, I look forward to reasoned discussion, however unlikely, from you on this matter.

Tbf George did follow the orders the cops gave....he just died because of an overdose
He didn't really follow though. The reason he wasn't in a police car was because he tried to force his way out and resisted arrest.

I wouldn't call 'forcibly resisting being placed into the back of a squad car' 'following orders'.
