Actually yes I do agree with you. Those were quite good looking the enemy sprites and battle backgrounds. I honestly don't know about the Pixel Remaster versions, I guess they are supposed to be like the originals more visually?

Yeah you are right though that did remind me those sprites were done well in that regard.
