What's shocked me about sports is how dumb a lot of content creators and fans are. I don't really mean that in the sense of I disagree with them, I mean that in the sense that they will cherrypick data to try to prove something, toss out everything that disproves their theory, and still have to lie about the remaining data to try to come to a conclusion.
Or they make weird comparisons, like thinking Jesper Wallstedt will bust because Tom McCollum or Leland Irving did.
That's kinda the reason why I've stuck mostly to Outkick. I've disagreed with Clay Travis (first amendment and boobs fame btw) on occasion but it's clear he's trying to be the anti-ESPN, and even though he recently sold his network to Fox Sports he's now moved on to the Rush Limbaugh slot and him with Bud Sexton has been absolutely on fucking fire.
It's just interesting because Clay still has his live show as well so you get this interesting balance of populist/conservative news + regular sports talk. And because I'm a Tennessee Titans fan I get the "up front" news about it straight from these guys as well.
