When we look at ancient to modern history we are essentially viewing it through the extensive bookkeeping and writing of English/ European origin. This means that the majority of documentation done at that time period was done by a white person. This is why we can’t determine certain things like white slave numbers taken by Barbary pirates in the Mediterranean, but have extensive listings and know every minute detail of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. It is also why British colonization is so well known, but not the massive colonizing other ethnicities were known to have done. Is the British obsession with documentation the main reason White’s are so vilified today? If other societies kept such extensive records we could have rebuttal material from what we know were equal is not superior transgressions during the same time period.

Not really.
It's not like the Islamic or Chinese world wasn't keeping good records. They are targeting Whites today because they are Communists living in a countries that are predominantly white.
I tend to agree with Sargon on the fact that the thing they are primarily focused on is destroying what most people would refer to as the "Protestant Work Ethic". Whether you agree with it being a thing or not, the concept promotes personal and professional development that secures the liberties of the individual, while promoting the discipline needed to continually build a strong society, and promoting a sense of duty to the society that the individual helps build, making them independent of any dependency schemes from power mongers.
As such, this idea must be destroyed.
Similarly, this is why they attack Stoicism as "Fascist". Stoicism promotes strong mental fortitude against emotional pressure, which removes an entire avenue of attack on an individual.
They want to keep people sick and broken, so any ideology that might help people must be destroyed.
The only reason they're actually calling these concepts "white" is because they've already created enough anti-white sentiment, that they are using that label on them. They do the same thing with any Leftist slur: "Nazi" "Fascist" "Reactionary" "Far Right" "Rightist" "Counter-revolutionary", etc.
The only thing a written history gives them is an avenue of attack because it was recorded at all. Why it was recorded, or how thoroughly it was recorded is irrelevant.
Sure they do, everyone does.
You think anyone wants to talk about what Grandpa did in the war? No, they just quietly rationalize it and say it was legit.
That goes for all sides in those conflicts.
My great grandpa fought in the Battle of the Bulge and never committed any war crimes.
I'm proud of what he did.
Sounds like you're projecting.
Yeah? For which country? Because the Germans strapped a captured American POW to the hood of their car in that Battle.
Around that same time Patton made sure not to take prisoners for a few weeks after a previous Nazi atrocity.
You think the grandparents involved in those things wanted to tell their kids?
Did the dealers knowingly sell to a terrorist or did a fence buy the trucks and then sell them to terrorists?
Toyota corporate is so far removed from this it's laughable that you can even attempt this reach.
Next you'll be telling me gun manufacturers should be held liable for murders.
Wrong thread, dawg.
Dude replied to me but it doesn't show up.
Oh noes the Americans didn't take prisoners!
Sucks for the other guys.
I won't apologize for being better at war than the other guy.
Go cry about it somewhere else.
Then don't cry about atrocities then and pretend that White people can't commit them.
Who is crying about atrocities?
The Japanese empire deserved those nukes.
I’m not suggesting this is the only reason, just an efficient tool that allows manipulation of actual history.
Survivorship bias:
There is some truth to this. For instance, many atrocities that Native Americans committed against each other are only known because some white historian happened to document it. There were obviously many more that we don't know about. Same goes for Africa, parts of Asia etc. But also notice that the things we DO know about are being hushed unless it fits the narrative.
They don't hate what we have, they hate that it works and it came from white people. They do not care that their privileged existence is only made possible because others suffered for it. They know no oppression, no pain, no fear, no sadness. They seek only joy and exaltation, they chase it like the drug it is to them. A collective that can only survive when it is wasted on bliss will destroy everything it can to achieve that wasted state once more. These people don't live, they are addicts chasing the mutated high of righteousness. This is always how advanced societies devolve into orgies of death and destruction.
Evidence wouldn't matter.
There is significant enough evidence to suggest that any number of peoples have a checkered past, which really, should be common sense. From Aztec and Bantu genocide and expansionism, to Barbary and Mongolian slave trade. Slavery has been documented as far back as 3500BC in Mesopotamia, with the Mesopotamian Code of Hammurabi also representing the earliest evidence of "institutional" slavery. A common theme in history is: If they could, they likely did.
The reason why White people suffer this vilification is because they allow it. We allow the massive role Jewish Europeans played in the trans-Atlantic slave trade to be ignored, as we do the their often above per-capita slave ownership. We ignore or absolve Africans of their role in that slave trade. We ignore Islamic slave trade, as we do Islamic genocide. We largely ignore contemporary slave trade, despite the numbers surpassing historical slave trade with ease. Instead, we assume responsibility for every unfortunate event, every failure of failed peoples. We accept the historical revisionism and the illogical arguments that weaponize them towards the destruction of culture.
The only meaningful questions left are how we arrived at a point where we so willingly accept such deprecation, and what can be done about it. Safe to say though, it wasn't organic.
