This is a scary point when we lie to people about health to avoid “offending”
I wish this was new. The UK banned a gym ad a while ago. Fitness is offensive these days.
Which is ridiculous considering obesity is a major risk factor for the Wu Flu. Yet these idiots claim "perfectly healthy" young people with "no preexisting conditions" die from the Wu Flu. Never mind that the photo in the accompanying article shows a landwhale.
I wonder how Covid would’ve gone if they were honest about the risk of obesity. Heck even taking vitamins. I’ve been taking vitamins for the last ten years and that along with exercise has helped me tremendously
Covid would have been a great opportunity to get people to exercise and become healthier. Instead they locked everyone down and made mental and physical health worse. There's just too much power in fear. Politicians love fear.
I've been taking vitamins for about that long, too. Some multivitamin and extra vitamins C and D.
2019 = Fat is Healthy!
2020 = Healthy people are dying!
They only twisted the truth into knots, it wasn't a "lie." /s
No fat chicks.
I used Pinterest to look at food and cats, so I can see why they might think their target demographic would champion this.
That being said, maybe we should have some self control, instead of defaulting to BAN HAMMER.
This is called a preemptive strike. Their financial whales are at least the size of porpoises. When you go somewhere to be taken away from your own problems, the last thing you want is something that drags you out of that.
Pinterest clearly wants more people to die from Covid, because it's almost entirely fatasses and old people dying from it.
"GYMS ARE OPPRESSIVE"
wow, like I needed another reason to not use oldtech.
Thanks Pintrest!
Will they ban smoking PSAs to avoid offending smokers?
