This is the trap they have caught themselves in...with a game as generic and cookie cutter as Far Cry you will have to bullshit like this to make it seem different...but it will be huge map, many collectables, salvage and crafting system and watch towers...lots and lots of watch towers.
Because you already sold them the formula last year.
Even the diehard playerbase willing to pay full game price for just more of the same with a different bow on top will get bored of that formula eventually and the interest will dry up more and more on each iteration
