Definently a difference, no doubt...
However, the sources of the photos between the 2 sites are vastly different.
Google looked to be pulling pictures from articles. DDG seems to pull mainly from stock photos. The types up pictures pulled up by the algorithm due to phrasing could conceivably be vastly different.
Not saying that Google is not a racist, woke piece of crap, it is... but it is not so clear cut in this case.
Google uses stock photos too.
I really would not put it past them. The only reason I play devils advocate on this is that it is something a leftist can come in and throw serious doubts on or even disapprove. They then would use this to call us conspiracy theorists and use it to say that every thing else we believe is wrong.
They like to do that sort of thing.
Figure if we are going to get mad at Google, the are plenty of things we can prove without focusing on a search that could have other, logical, reasoning being the results.
