I almost wouldn't care if Russia took over the USA at this point

You really can't, and it's not that easy. You're guaranteeing a horrific Civil War every few years were swaths of your population are killed unseating yet another ignorant monarch, who will continue to not properly protect the country. Your solution to defeat a tyrant... is with more tyrants. This is what has always happened as an established monarchy breaks down. Warring factions start vying for power to seize control, and everyone is left worse off from the instability.
You want stability, so your solution to poor leadership is violent instability by the mob. It doesn't work.
No, that's not any better, it might even be worse as the aristocracy tends to be even worse than the monarch. I mean having Republican voting systems rather than Direct Democracy / "Representative" voting systems.
Ha ha ha. You actually think we're not an oligarchy right now!
You've got that backwards.
We've got the mob now.
And you'll get the mob under monarchism too. The petty tyrant will always call himself "Democracy" because he is a "people's state". He's "a man of the people".
You will find startling resemblances between Tyrants and Leftists.
As with Tyrants, the mobs today are simply the violent proxies of the establishment attempting to crush dissent, then claiming that they are working on behalf of the people (whom they sent out to attack dissidents in the first place).
You're wrong.
You also don't understand what I want.
I want dissidents crushed. Both sides. I don't want anyone demonstrating in the fucking streets. For either side.
Do you know why the German military failed so many times to kill Hitler?
Because not a single one of them was willing to die to do it.
John Wilkes Booth... was willing to die.
That's not really true about either of them.
Booth wasn't willing to die because he made sure to escape and flee. Most of his conspirators definitely weren't willing to die, because they didn't even go through with it.
The Wermacht's conspirators were willing to die, that's why they all knew that if they got caught they'd be killed, and so was everyone who helped them. It would have been relatively easy to stab or shoot Hitler, but it would not have prevented Goebbels or Goering from taking power immediately afterward without a proper coup. And tracking down the plotters would be easy if it's obvious who killed him.
So you just need three gunmen.
The conspirators were cowards who didn't want to die.
This is how the game of thrones is played, you discard the top card until you get the one you want. In the end the pile of discards is a lot smaller than the inevitable orgy of mob violence that marks the end of every democracy in history.
That literally doesn't change the problem. More gunmen does not fix this, in fact, it would make it worse.
Boy, you really don't know how this works. What's funny is the constant killing of leaders would be the orgy of mob violence that you claim to be resisting.
Hell, this very problem is part of why the Valkyrie bomb plot failed. They had numerous instances to kill Hitler, but all of them would have left Himmler in power and still alive, so they kept calling it off. So they were left with their only shot at all 3 of the people they needed dead being a case where their carefully chosen bomb was not powerful enough to kill everyone, so people survived. Even if it left Hitler paranoid and even more of a junkie than he had been BEFORE the bombing (since now he was addicted to pain meds on top of everything else).
