I guess it's intelligence vs. wisdom. I think he would do well on an IQ test. I agree though that his stuff isn't new, the work of others, but re-introducing it to a new generation that needs it has value. His weird diet makes me think he might be uh, a bit loony though. One of the potential dangers of higher IQ. Ayn Rand seemed quite smart too, but again, don't know how wise, or how much she her own rules. I know there some sort of affair shenanigans. I've always meant to read Atlas but rarely have come upon someone who found it enjoyable. I just like some of her philosophy so thought I should give it a try sometime.
i read his rules for life thingie, i have no problems with that, wish i had read it as a child.
but thats it. he is a good influence for teenagers with that. but nothing beyond. with i guess should be the goal of that book.
