Nobody believes this. Non-racists know the difference between Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Korean etc. Actual racists distinguish gooks from chinks, japs/nips, dotheads, etc and somehow they can even tell the difference between the Hmong and Kinh.
Not actually a myth, if you take it the way a normal person would, as referring to group averages. Median household income is about $68K for 2019 (numbers aren't in for 2020); most Asian-American groups they show, and all the large ones, are comfortably above that.
Less than what? This myth don't grammar.

Ooh, there's that term 'fair'. In a majoritarian system, you can't expect proportional representation for minorities. This myth is meaningless.
