China also doesnt like lgbt stuff... and doesnt like random black people. Disney making everything lgbt and "diverse" probably isnt working too well
Disney does that to appeal to what the woke media tell them Western audiences want, or maybe even in the service of a social engineering project unrelated to their prospects of making a profit in the short term.
But they capitulate to China in a desperate effort to compensate for their plummeting profits in Western markets, and use tactics to do so that upset the same ideologically possessed media that their other face is endlessly kowtowing to.
Now they've alienated both groups, as well as their traditional Western audience, but still, investors are pumping billions into their stock without any realistic prospect of seeing a positive return.
Hmmm....
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is why most Christian religious references/values suddenly disappeared from Disney shows. China doesn’t like any of it.
Its like blizzard streaming some tournament with gay pride stuff, but the streams that goes to china, it tries to omit and exclude all the gay stuff lol.
