The problem with all these woke cities is that they don't actually fucking try anything. They treat these diseased bums, drug addicts, helpless crazies, and just general worthless dregs of society who choose to live outside and violently harass people for money (even killing some. Hi, NYC, Karen!) like exotic pets. It only attracts more of them and makes once crime-free areas into toxic cesspools of violence, street shitters, and drug addicts.
Community outreach programs that actually work are defunded in favor of some rich, useless cunt's idea of how she can put a bow on it and make it better, ala San Francisco and Michael Obama.
The only thing the community should be reaching out with is a whip. People used to know how to deal with dregs who could work, but instead leech off the community
There are those who genuinely need help, but don't get it because they are usually not part of the special minority these groups want to give money to. They usually only stay on the street for a short time before getting themselves back off without help because they are hardworkers who hit a massive roadbump. The rest, are either crazy or just worthless pieces of shit.
I always tell these dumbass progressives that normies don't lose their jobs or whatever and say "well I guess I'll pitch a tent under the overpass now." Normal people will move in with their parents, couch surf, rent a hotel room, or worse case, gets public housing assistance. It seems like most of these detached from reality lefties see a bum and think "but for the grace of God go I."
From what I've seen and what I've read, street bums can generally be categorized into one of three camps: 1. drug addicts who do not have their addiction under control, 2. unmedicated mentally ill, 3. ne'er do wells who think that living on the streets is better than integrating into society.
It gets bad because the Homeless tend to leave trash everywhere and some Woke think its not a problem when they advocate "We need to save the planet!" BS don't realize they are polluting the hell out of your area with trash and shit. .
