I saw KIA linked on the All Communities sidebar and from the most recent posts assumed it was dead, then I happened to notice a few KIA2 posts on communities.win and apparently this one is active.
Sorry if this has been discussed to death already. I just got here.
As Antonio already gave a legit answer, I'll give an exploratory one.
KIA never put in any effort to move here, as they are both sufficiently cucked and Leftist to only need minor censorship to maintain a safe position on reddit. Their .win has been dead since day one.
KIA2 has never once been safe on reddit, is constantly one bad day from banning, and half of our .win is banned there anyway. This place is a necessary lifeboat to continuing our community and discussions we want to but cannot have there.
Reddit users are the lowest of scumbags. Why should anyone tolerate a reddit user on a .win site?
Speaking of this, r/yiffinhell is the only remaining anti-furry subreddit and it's controlled by regressive leftist's, which is ironic as the furry community has a critical infestation of these freaks.
Because .win wasn't a thing when we came together. All the other alternatives either failed to even work (Voat) or told us from the start they would sell out "free speech" on their moral decisions, so we never had a viable move until this one.
Voat was a thing until December. Then there was poal, ruqqus, saidit, and presumably more.
Even if there were no other commenting sites left on the internet, that is no excuse to use reddit. Sure, all those alternatives have their own issues, but you know what reddit is.
Voat was a thing back when it was just KIA1. Many tried to migrate and the literal servers barely worked and it was unusable for most people. That's why it specifically failed.
Most of the alternatives you listed were considered, and failed that "free speech" test on their own sales pitch when they came to recruit us.
I'm not disagree reddit is awful, but its the current nest. People aren't gonna go setup shop somewhere new if its already suspicious before we even start.
Wasn't it a great idea for the half mods to allow leftists in and gimp GG from week 1 with their "don't attack the opposition, fight a defensive battle" and "boycotts and emails are a bad idea guyz! it's what the other side does!" concern trolling. Jim will eternally be right about GG.
I mean nearly all the mods were Leftists themselves, so it makes sense why they would want to go easy on the opposition (aka former allies) because if they went hard they would have to admit that Leftism was the common theme and corrupting agent.
But GG was the closest this "culture war" ever got to an actual strike back, so it was still worth riding the wave. Which says alot about how limp dick the resistance has been to all this.
This is not true though. I don't understand why people insist that censorship must be interconnected with politics. Their problem is their arrogance and their control-freak nature, not their politics.
Because most of them were very open about their political leanings, acted similarly to those with the same leanings we were in opposition to, and eventually began to use their leanings to define reality to us when enforcing those rules (remember T_D crossposters are all brigaders, SJW are unrelated to Gamegate, and journalists literally getting beaten has nothing to do with ethics in journalism because Rarara didn't like the politics of it? I do).
Politics don't exist in a bubble, they are intertwined with our attitudes, personality and beliefs. That's how we create our politics to begin with and adapt them to the world as we age.
We all agree of the inevitable consequences of communism because of its politics and those who hold them, so why is it so hard to see Leftism has inevitable consequences because of politics and those who hold them?
Oh, I know. I still remember the shit show that happened when someone started linking sjw ideology to the left and Frankfurt school. First sign that the sub was going to quickly either go full lefty or split.
That was disallowed by the admins. As soon as the mods discovered that it was allowed (because I sent the admins a message about something completely different and then told them about the response), they allowed it again.
Why were you having to do their work for them?
From what I have heard, that is because they simply don't reply to 'our kind'.
The reason they did reply to me, is because I asked about a completely unrelated matter where people were contacting advertisers.
When it was being discussed, prior to the Admins being liars, there were several dozen newer "member" who were instantly against it.
Speaking of which, why don't we do those here? They seemed to be highly effective.
Good question. There's a LOT of blackpilled bedwetters here though.
