I am wondering if we as a group would be ok with bans on regressive leftist hate speech and possibly other hate speech involving whites and men, as this has become a major issue?
What are your thoughts?

I doubt it. If a bunch of wahmen started placing bombs in theaters and poisoning postmen, there would be hell to pay. Terrorism laws are no joke.
You have to fight back, but you should not in any way imply that they are not pathetic. Most of these Islamist terrorists are absolutely pathetic as well. Does not mean that they are not a threat. But it does not mean they are not to be taken seriously.

A year is enough to make some progress, not to end it outright. And I'd need a (metaphorical) army which I don't have.
That may very well be. I generally think every sort of criminal receives undue lenience, and women more than men. That is because of the hare-brained belief that punishment should not be punishment but only a deterrent.
