It's such a paradox thing. People keep saying "no you don't have to arrest someone on the spot, or follow them, just put out a warrant and later they'll go quietly"

Then, this exact situation happens. His plates are registered as being owned by a guy with a gun felony, he gets pulled over, and then he realizes that he's going away for 6 years and suddenly will do anything to get away. The short term consequences seemed much more scary than long term consequences of anything, so rather than just accepting he was beat, he would do anything to not be arrested at that very moment.

The video was very shaky, hard to tell if he did anything more than shove one guy and get into his car. All of this would have been avoided, a life not lost, if he just went with the flow.
