Social conservatives act socially conservative: news at 11.
Say a bunch of social conservatives live in a small town, and the local stores refuse to carry these shoes. Walmart comes in and offers them for sale. The townspeople unanimously vote to ban the sale of these shoes: would Styx allow them to do that, or would he force the town to allow Walmart to sell them?
Because while there's a lot of truth to the idea that conservatives have done a shit job of "conserving" anything, it's also true that generally speaking whenever they make the attempt they're told they aren't allowed to by some outsider. And they tend to not like those people.
Someday social liberals are going to have to deal with the fact that social conservatives do in fact exist and want to conserve their values and be allowed to do so. If you don't provide these people a safety valve somewhere, you're not going to like the result.
The biggest mistake conservatives made was allowing the church to become pozzed. Now they can't fall back on religion because Christianity has already been subverted.
I am very much in favor of the idea of localism and localities determining their own values and gatekeeping the hell out of them. The left does it quite successfully in places like Santa Cruz, Berkeley, San Francisco, Seattle, etc... The right ought to be allowed to do the same.

This is why unaffiliated protestant churches are a thing.
Unaffiliated and nondenominational churches are the biggest pozzed fiesta there is
I am well aware of the opportunity for that there.

Do you have any idea why the fuck I got downvoted?
Edit: I should note I was not accusing the poster of anything.
Probably cause the basic premise of the video is not true. Lil Nas X is not getting canceled nor is there any major push to cancel him.
I agree that there is no real push to cancel him because the tradcons lost all their influence since the rise of the regressive left.
I reflexively downvote any comment that complains about downvoting
No: you were at zero when I commented, and I don't downvote. When I disagree or critique I do so with my words.
