I think Hollywood embraced the pandemic because 1) they've wanted to cut out the theaters forever and 2) they had a bunch of overpriced woke turds in the hopper. Now they can blame these flops on muh lockdowns, remake the industry to capture more revenue, and possibly even get bailouts from their leftist cronies in office.
Hollywood embraced the shutdown because they knew they couldn't keep up the woke shenanigans forever. There were one or two big movies a year that made the blockbuster numbers they were used to in the glory days but that public opinion was turning.
Now, they have realized that streaming isn't going to make them the money that they were used to either, so I think there will be a big push to celebrate everything reopening and hope that people will be desperate to watch anything as long as it's in theaters.
Making popcorn in a kettle with coconut oil and some clarified butter is great if you just want the tastes and smells of movie theatre popcorn (and the real butter instead of whatever the theatres use is going to be even better..

I need to find some theaters playing classic films. All the fun of going to the theater, with none of the woke.
