If you are looking for some 1950s stereotype, they don't exist, and other than on television, when they were paired with an affable, pipe-smoking husband, they never really did thanks to government. The legal system starting from the 30s has undermined any male authority in a relationship, while maintaining male responsibility, divorce and domestic violence laws assume that all women are completely incapable of living on their own, that any divorce or violence is caused by some flaw of the husband, and that the husband must continue to care for the wife until some other sucker comes along and marries her, maybe even after that as well. Adjust your expectations, fella. Yes, there are women out there who want, in their heart of hearts, to settle down with a couple of kids and a provider-husband. But society has moved on from that line of thinking decades ago. Unless you are very blessed financially, or you are willing to live somewhere where it takes manual labor to maintain a farmstead, you need a wife who is an equal partner in all things. She might be earning the bacon and have the capability to cook it too, but you better be ready and able to pitch in on an equal basis. Find one that is politically centrist in a way that you can tolerate for a while. Bonus points if she is Christian, that would make her more open to traditional values. Foster that relationship, show her that you are a good leader, a man worth following. Then, ease into it. Say stuff like "I know you're not a conservative, but even you understand xyz, right?" Over time, if she cares about you, she will care about the things you care about. Suddenly, you'll find yourself in the relationship you're looking for. Convert them subtly and discreetly, women are biologically made to be morally amorphous which makes them mailable to the influence of strong willed men.
