The complacency is honestly quite disappointing.
These people aren't messing around. Reddit comments will eventually be used to deny you access to food, water, electricity, and money. "Your honor, MegaFaggot82 misgendered the defendant repeatedly in a hate-fueled tirade! He even used the Ap*che slur."
Getting off the mainstream tech platforms is imperative. Yes, it might hurt now. But the reach and convenience that people won't sacrifice now will kill people later.
