I'm trying it out now. So far looks OK on k2win and ruqqus. The dissenter comments appear to not work because of attacks on gab's infrastructure but but browser itself appears to be fine.

The Dissenter addon was amazing back in it's (very limited) day. One of the best aspects of the internet is getting people feedback on things and sharing information. I often read an online article or blog post or something like that and think "I can't be the only one who sees what's wrong with this, right? Dissenter allowed for access to feedback across the web. And the best part, if you don't want it, you don't have to look at it.
It bothers me that a single entity would know my entire web history. they would have to, in order to serve the respective comments.
Most article comments use Disqus. This isn't much different than posting with your Disqus account everywhere; it's just that news sites have completely removed article comments because their narrative is flattened when people can speak freely.
Comments could be retrieved through Tor in background while the actual site loaded normally through direct connection.
I think Google has limited Chrome extensions so much this would have to be in the browser not in an extension.
I don't know if Gab do this, but they could. Brave already has Tor support baked in.
