Yes, really. 'snicker' is an actual word in America. Those nutty chocolate bars you see mean 'sniggers'.

I'm British, and I was in my 20s before I realised the word 'snigger' had been altered in American English. Blew my fucking mind. I couldn't believe anyone would do anything so ridiculous.
