State's are already in the process of turning Red and Blue. Ohio and Flordia going Red long term is a problem for the Dems. If Texas goes Blue, along with California and New York, that's not going to be tolerable for the Reps. The more aggressive the Dems get with the Reps, the more civil disobedience will occur, and the more state secession will be an amicable solution to maintain order and peace. Not only that, but you've also got depopulation of cities on the rise too.

It is very clear to me that the political situation is highly flexible at the moment. The best thing for any establishment power structure to do is secure new positions where the flexing seems to stop. The best and easiest solution to continuing tension and problems will be for people to start making deals and re-drawing political lines.
