Wife and I were looking at our savings account balance is a lot higher this year. And we still went on a vacation, not a major expensive one, but right now its averaged out about $500 a month extra worth of savings this year. Also helps that we're done with major home improvement projects. We might replace the front door at some point. Will need to do the upstairs flooring in a few years. But siding, roof, HVAC, all those things are done.
