true.

I dunno, I remember the fuss when Doom and Mortal Kombat came out. Ultimately, though, It's the responsibility of the parents to know what their kids are up to, especially on the internet. (and it's debatable whether kids should even be on the internet under the age of thirteen in the first place.)

to be fair, they could have just checked to see what new game was hot right now, and BG3 was at the top of some list, so they went with that.

Keep in mind, though, This was a scene from the south park movie...

yeah...you're basically better off keeping an eye on thrift stores for an old CRT tv...my understanding is the lag is intentional to compensate for the delay in the older tvs...

The upshot is if you can find one, those old tvs were basically tanks, so as long as you don't drop it, it should last for years to come.

Everything else is electrical wizardry.

Good for Steve Bell. I'm sure I disagree with him on a lot, but he's better off...

Besides, if anything, the cartoon is saying Bibi is being foolish and hurting his own cause....

Basically, everyone's favorite aquamarine ungulate summarizes and responds to a book from the 80s by a feminist that basically derides objective truth in a glaringly religious way.

Along the way, he highlights the roots of the author's arguments in a late nineteenth century spiritualist movement called theosophy.

yeah...I never got into invader zim (not really sure why, think I missed the window where it was on tv, didn't have cable at the time). tried to watch after, and I just didn't have the nostalgia effect to make it entertaining. I'm sure it was fine, it just didn't really grab my attention...

Even in (at least)some of the Extended Universe books, the droids were referred to as "it," but that had to do with them being seen as not people

dunno enough about the other two to comment, but Ed and Loki are bad examples. Loki may be a bit flamboyant, but unless they've changed something drastic int he films recently, he's still a dude.

Ed is androgynous to the point that a couple of characters can't figure it out, but it's expressly stated that she's a girl at least once that I can think of...

indeed. I saw a documentary on heavy metal once that did this smooth transition from a classical piece played on piano to a metal guitarist playing it, and it was awesome how good it sounded...
