I don't mind that the physician or dentist put on a paper mask during examination visits - to me this is no different than putting on latex gloves. You want to reduce the risk of the examiner contaminating the examinee - it's just good sanitation. As long as you're doing it for sanitation reasons.

If the dirty piece of paper is going to stop the deadliest disease known to man by preventing particles that require a SEM to see from entering your nose, then wad it up and shove it up your ass with your head.
