Of course everything is speculation at this point, but since I don't expect the investigation to be all that honest anyways, I think it's interesting to explore the possibility Quintez Brown targeted Craig Greenberg in support of Shameka Parrish-Wright.

One thing to note is that the current mayor has reached his term limit. Louisville will have a new mayor, who could be in office for more than 10 years.

Opponent is a BLM activist

"Shameka Parrish-Wright, Co-chair of the Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and manager of the Louisville Bail Project": https://archive.is/pl5je

"for the past two months, most of her time has been spent at Jefferson Square Park, where she and other members of the Kentucky Alliance have been supporting the ongoing protests": https://archive.is/JQ9PJ#selection-2291.4-2291.181

"Shameka Parrish-Wright, a local organizer who was arrested at one of the Taylor protests": https://archive.is/3J1cz#selection-481.113-481.201

Target may be the front-runner

"Greenberg made a splash early this summer with a campaign finance report showing that his campaign had raised $442,000. [...] Greenberg has also won key endorsements. Last month, Metro Council President David James, who suspended his own campaign for mayor in August, endorsed his one-time rival": https://archive.is/hknOG#selection-1717.0-1719.0

The target is also "The former CEO of 21C Museum Hotels and the current co-owner of Ohio Valley Wrestling."
