This place talks about stuff beyond gamer issues, so let's talk about this, because The_Donald will probably whine antisemitism if I say this: So what if he's a "nazi"? He is not invading Poland, he is not doing anything to get Jews or homosexuals into concentration camps. He is not going around leading jackboots to shoot people or do a Kristallnacht.
How much time do you spend consuming entertainment such as video games, novels, comics and movies? How much of this stuff do you consoom?
And how often do you simply watch/read/ post commentary about it online?
What motivates you to engage with entertainment? I think most of it is boring. I recently unsubscribed to Max streaming because it felt like I was directly/indirectly bankrolling the Black Snape Harry Potter series by giving them 17 bucks a month, plus I would waste money by watching between zero or one movies a month. I had it since late 2023 and only skipped a few months here and there.
What sort of video games do you play? I prefer single player games but hardly play those. the endless neverending "multiplayer" games I don't get into. Maybe it's because I work seven days a week, but I still have plenty of free time, but most of it is spent on the Internet, and real-life material and current events are more interesting than fiction.
Interestingly enough I do like the movie theater. I saw 24 movies in theaters last year. It might be a lot less this year. It has to be stuff that interests me. The variety was all over the place and not just Hollywood movies.
