Well, yeah. One is clearly fully manipulated into the system dogma, or otherwise without personal awareness, and the other is willing and capable to work at improving their lot in life and thinking for their own best interests. If you sincerely considered yourself akin to an "upper, ruling class" in need of keeping an underclass of serfs with as minimal effort as possible, which one would you prefer to keep comfortably controlled vs hate with a blind passion?
