You can even get a cabin out in the sticks and stay away from everyone if that's your goal.

Speaking of which, it's one of the least partisan states out there, with the electorate split fairly cleanly down the middle, and an increasing chunk of the populace not wanting anything to do with either of the big parties, so not only is there no identity politics to worry about, there's also none of the classic right-wing morality-policing to worry about either. Also, low taxes.
