If you’ll read the linked story, you’ll note that the media have very carefully left out what colour the suspect is. From this fact and the other fact that Croydon is “ethnically diverse”, what’s the betting that the suspect was black, didn’t get frisked because of the current racial tensions, and decided to have a go at the cops when he was arrested and was being booked in?
Fuckssake, we’re going to start seeing a lot more of these cases when the police just give up on doing their jobs properly for fear of being called racist. Which in turn is going to lead to a lot more criminal action and then vigilante groups. Hooray for a return to mob justice, I guess? Fuck all the trappings of civilisation we had before, thanks to a ton of people on one side politically deciding to not uphold their part of the social contract.
Good thing the UK has such restrictive gun laws! They really work! Since no one can own a gun, why even bother checking for them? It's not like a criminal can find a way to get one because that would be illegal.
