#PelosiMustGo is trending on Twitter after Nancy Pelosi got her hair done at a salon even though they're supposed to be closed to the public due to the coronavirus, and quite a few conservatives on there (including James Woods and Leo Terrell seem to be taking the bait.
The problem is, quite a few of the tweets make it clear that this is about supporting her opponent, a "democratic socialist and intersectional feminist," who thinks Trump is a fascist and would be right at home with "The Squad." In fact, many of the tweets call out Pelosi for not being radical enough. And he's clearly trying to take advantage of the situation.
Pelosi is an awful human being, but I fear conservatives may be playing into the hands of the far-left Justice Democrats here. This is San Francisco we're talking about here; if she doesn't get elected, he will be.
The best thing that could happen to the country would be the radical left gaining full control of the democrat party. Republicans could merely flinch toward the center and immediately capture millions of moderate Democrat voters for the next decade.
I disagree.
Radical communists usurping the Democrats is a horrible thing.
Many Democrat voters solely vote based on the D label.
These communists won't lose as much support as you think.
The left has been bleeding support for months thanks to radical leftist riots. We know this because Biden and company pulled a hard 180, obviously reacting to their internal numbers. This tells me that the further left the democrats go, the more people they will lose. The more moderate they appear, the longer the frog stays in the pot.
I heard a lot of Democrats saying that they were glad that Trump got nominated because they were sure Hillary would win back in 2016. That didn't exactly turn out the way they expected.
You might well be right, but I think it's a very dangerous game to play.
It'd be nice to have two sane parties rather than one: a nationalist party representing the working class and a nationalist party representing the entrepreneurial job creator class. I think there's room in this country for both to have political advocates.
Culture influences politics, not the other way around. Look at how much was normalized in the last ten years. The "moderate Democrat" is going to look completely unrecognizable in the next decade.
