The game is pretty good, I've been playing the campaign since yesterday.
I can't see the video, but if it's that one dumb scene during the A-Day prologue, yeah it's stupid but lasts like 1 minute total.
Kamala is obviously the SJW insert (female and muslim), but is actually a pretty fun character and is the audience proxy. Her fangirling sometimes gets a little annoying, but keeps the game light hearted. So yeah, even if they picked her for the wrong reasons, she isn't a bad character...and frankly...she's damned fun to play.

I wouldn't call it a speech, it's just a quote. The whole scene lasts like less than a minute.
