If it comes to the US, the first thing gone will be cable news and social media. Complete lock down and their officers and servers will be confiscated. You'll have a complete shut down of social media and the ability to communicate. And that will cut down on the violence over night. You'll have smaller and smaller numbers of thugs and mass arrests. It will go quite quick and its going to be ugly.
Nah by then insurgents would have already have independent means of communication. They people not like the ones in the pop up riots and protesters that were seeing now. I’m talking about the hardcore militants that are armed, have a goal and are essentially the paramilitary arm of their ideology. Also it won’t be a centralized movement. They’re gonna operate as cells and just like Iraq, they’re gonna end up fighting each other more than they will the government. It’s gonna be like CHOP/CHAZ where they started shooting at each other. Just because they generally lean the same direction doesn’t mean they like each other.
For the most part they’re gonna get rekt by government forces. But the nature of this type of warfare will mean that a lot of them will simply hide and wait things out and then pop up again when they think they have a chance. Same way that all these years later were still killing insurgents in Afghanistan. They know when they’re being hunted and just hide when things get hot, and resurface when things quiet down.
Yes, the ideology has irrevocably infected the west unfortunately. It's so ingrained throughout the entire education system that we can't do anything about it.
