I physically cringe every time I see this. I can’t tell what I hate the most, the galaxy hair, the outfit, the fat with small tits body type, or the fact that she is fucking purple. I might be an amateur at character design, but oof this is so bad, especially compared to the canon artwork of Wonder Woman. I have grown to absolutely despise the “Calarts/ Tumblr” art style instead of just being neutral on it like I used to be.
I'm really curious how these same people complain of unrealistic proportions but then they draw this shit where her legs are twice the size of her torso.
Unless those pants are full of air....
She was wearing those pants before MC Hammer made them popular.
Can't Touch This
I think they are just fetishiszing thighs. Like, they think that being "fat" is how you get good thighs or something.
Each thigh is significantly larger than her whole head. Her hips are wider than her shoulders, her tits are extraordinarily small for someone who has thunder-thighs, and so are her arms.
The top of her body belongs to a woman weighing 180 lbs, her tits belong to a woman who weighs 80 lbs, and her lower body belongs to someone who weighs 280 lbs.
But of course they'd never think of trying to get better legs by walking or biking instead of taking their car everywhere they go ...
"Damn! She's got a big ass"
"There's a difference between a big ass, and a fat ass."
Not gonna lie: Dislike the art, don't dislike the style. I just don't think it's done very well, plus you know drawing Wonder Woman specifically so SJWs will clap like trained seals.
That style does give a bit of a nostalgia. Like, old comics and idk, album covers from the 80s looked cool as shit to a young kid in the 90s. This is just like... taking that kinda neat aesthetic and style and modernizing it to wonky-SJW formless art style.
Style looks like Far Cry: Blood Dragon.
It's an exaggeration of the 80's scifi esthetic, which is what FC: BD was parodying.
I think anyone aware of Far Cry: Blood Dragon knows that.
