She was part of the team who took the picture and the media kept trying to make her take all the credit, ironically making people wonder if she did anything at all.
I feel bad for her because she was caught in the crossfire. Iirc she wasn't trying to take credit or anything, it was the media trying to raise her up into a feminist icon like you were saying.
Well, look at Kim Campbell and her "barriers" re: FiRsT fEmAlE finance minister". Has she forgotten she was Prime Minister for all of five minutes once? What barrier stopped her from appointing a female finance minister, I wonder?
Oh, yeah, people like her is why it's good we have votes of non-confidence, rather than just fixed elections. :P
