I can understand the time slot argument if most people that watch sports are blue-collar types that still work outdoors from dawn to dusk. Unlike programming, you can't operate a backhoe from home, and most of the work is at the mercy of sunlight and noise ordinances.
It just shows that the NBA has made a serious miscalculation if they think white-collar types will replace their blue-collar audience with morning time slots and virtue signaling.
