Let's be real, he spends an ungodly amount of hours trawling through the net to find shit for us but goddamn his fence sitting is retarded.
For someone that seems to spend every waking moment being bombarded by the actually civilization destroying shenaningans of the political spectrum he insists on pretending to be the independent rebel.
Now Crigler, he was insulated by msm lies and obfuscation, when he found out how much they lied he changed his opinions. Respect.
I even posted a couple of years ago how every time Pool talked about "our" thing, gamergate, he'd always preface it by saying he was reading gamerghazi and wasn't too read into the GG situation. Every single time. Now in one of his recent podcasts he straight up said he knew about it from the start. That's some pussy ass weak knee shit.
Tims fence sitting is why i watch him.
I see enough opinionated stuff already and it helps ground my own.
Tim is strongly opinionated. His opinions are just weird and contradictory. He can't swallow the red pill that all those leftist ideas he grew up with were based on lies like the ones he witnesses in real time every day.
Tim Pool swallowed the red pill a long time ago and just lies on camera about it.
He even tells you exactly why: he thinks there's a huge market for "centrist" content so he plays to the crowd. He pretends to not know exactly what's going on to appeal to the average consumer.
Find someone who who doesn't hold contradictory opinions and I'll find you a Joe Biden quote that isn't racist.
He can't swallow it. He's mixed race and thus has major identity problems and all of his politics reflect that. He would need to blame his parents for his lot in life and he won't, so he puts the burden on the society he's in.
There is nothing Tim Pool brings forward I already didn't know a week, month or year ahead. How are you spending your time, ffs?
Draw a venn diagram: people who are busy, people don't read, people who already knows about the culture war. I'd say that's like 95% of Tim's demographic and they're all already voting for Trump.
The fence sitting used to annoy me but I really don't need him to make a politician stand. Let him be a gateway drug for lefties with a brain to get redpilled.
Don't forget his newfound viral status started when he went to Sweden to show Trump was wrong about how violently awful it was (somebody had a bounty for it, but I can't recall).
And then was bombarded by Muslims constantly trying to attack him.
He was like this from the word go.
I mostly put it on as background noise while doing other stuff and watch him try to weasel his way out of the red pill
Indeed, we were watching to see when he'd take the red pill with the overwhelming evidence.
the IRL podcast is the only thing worth watching of Tim's content because the discussion is interesting.
The standalone videos are three times longer than they need to be. I know they are probably padded out to get better treatment from the YT algorithm, but they are hard to sit through, especially when they are padded out with the same anecdotes over and over
Pretty much. The female however is just bland. Basically a background character in the streams I've watched. It was mostly tim and Adam bantering
You didn't get tired of him repeating the same thing, over, and over, and over again?
Maybe? I don't know man, its complicated!
You need to be a skateboarder with hacker friends to understand.
One aggregates other people's news articles and used to do on the ground work and figuratively knocked out jack Dorsey and his lawyer on the Rogan podcast.
The other is an emotional liberal temporarily redpilled because he enjoys attention but it shallow.
If you owned a company and wanted to have a Rogan/Rubin style interviews but your cohost becomes a frothing Magatard, you might need to recast the role. Yeah Tim has plenty of problems, but if I want Trump cheerleading I go to T_D.
Imagine having any guests of any quality, being interrupting by conspiracy theories and /pol/ fanboyism with intermittent "the chat is talking about me!" and "UFO/Like Button" memes. Adam was there to have fun, Tim was there to work.
I enjoyed the show and tuned in, and sad they split, but I'm not gonna overcompensate.
I think the two work well together. With how fence sitting Tim is, you need someone who's not to make for a dynamic show. It's boring if everyone has the same opinion or they both go well achually
That's seems like a really fair assessment actually.
No idea but apparently views fell by half
I imagine a good chunk of those watching were just curious what kind of shit show they were about to watch.
One of those drops in the bucket was me. I have unsubscribed and moved on.
Their show was mainly interesting precisely because there were multiple people, with a range of views, that still civilly discussed issues together.
The nail in the coffin was how terribly the whole thing was handled. A tweet, not even by the official Timcast channel? Followed by silence? And the show being cancelled for that day? And then just 'for personal reasons'?
Yeah, no thank you. That's exactly the sort of thing that I would have expected Tim to call out had someone else done it. And then Tim did it.
If they had, oh, had Adam mention on-show that he was leaving, and continued having their usual discourse for the rest of that show? Things might have been different.
As-is, the entire thing left a bad taste in my mouth. From the outside, regardless of what actually happened, it was indistinguishable from them having a fight and breaking up. Rather ironic for a show whose main calling card was precisely that they had multiple different views and yet could still work together and discuss things.
The live streams are far more financially secure as you can theoretically just move to anew platform like Dlive if Youtube bans you. There isn't really a good alternative platform to make money off advertising for video uploads.
I mean if we assume half watch it for Tim and the other half for Adam then it makes sense it would split like that.
There's the girl but she barelly exists on the show.
What's funny is that even though views dropped by half, dislikes actually increased 5x. Views went from 400k to 200k. Dislikes went from 500 to 2500
She nvr talks
Tim without adam is like penn without teller. I watched both casts and thats how i felt
Both of them are insufferable dullards.
"GF insists they aren't dating"
Who's his girlfriend supposed to be...that girl on the IRL podcast?
I didn't even know there was an issue between these two. Anybody know what happened?
Yeah. Lydia is supposed to be hooking up with him
Inb4 she was fucking adam n his hot wife n tim found out
to be fair, Tim does cover a lot of stuff that most people wouldnt know about otherwise, which is why i'm still subscribed to him.
But I liked Adam, he was a good partner to Tim.
