hahahahaha im affraid of heights too, usually fine with games but in Destiny 2's Prophecy Dungeon theres a room where the walls become the floor and each phase your on a different surface... I was fine until I saw the sandfall moving sideways then I copped a massive flood of vertigo, its never happened before... didnt stop me from playing though
I know a game's good if I stand on the edge of a big drop and actually feel briefly uncomfortable. Plus points if there's no actual fall damage and I get to yeet my character for the thrill.
Also fear of heights. But that doesn't mean I want them to go away. Heck, in FO4 for example, I still like diving off the buildings in downtown boston while in power armor - my stomach ends up in my throat on the trip down but it does feel kinda good afterwards when I can crash down and not end up splattered into goo.
I'm afraid of heights on such an instinctual level that things move fast at the screen can often cause me to flinch and get a sharp stomach pain.
I still play Ass Creed and racing games because I'm not a fucking woman.
