Don't actually do this. This is likely a violation of Reddit's sitewide rules in regards to "Breaking Reddit".
How does a single person setting up a self redirector "break" reddit
The Breaking Reddit rule is why all link shortener's on Reddit are removed. Re-directing falls under that same issue.
I think they are redirecting their own browsers, bunch of alcoholics welding the beer fridge closed.
Suggestion for Chrome Users: Stop using fucking spyware for the most evil corporation on the planet.
I'm sure you vetted the Chromium source before making that claim, right?
Waterfox is firefox with a lot of garbage stripped and supports a lot of the addons
Brave is OK but their addblocker is too permissive for my taste
Waterfox is good, but it's going to be nonfunctional for a lot of sites that require Chrome or Firefox because it's so dated.
well it's ancient but if you want something to tinker with the world wide web browser (also known as nexus) source code is in the public domain
I like Opera
While we're on the subject of re-directors, if you're on Firefox (or better yet, Waterfox), there's an add on called Invidition. It takes Youtube links and redirects them to their counterparts on Invidious. It also redirects Twitter links to Nitter. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/invidition/
This reminds me, there should be a thread on here for alternative software/websites/protocols. I might make it myself later, or leave it to someone who's actually a name around here. Not sure yet.
Very cool.
I've been considering writing a plugin that would detect if there's a valid redirect to BitChute, and if so redirect there.
What we need is something that displays posts from both.
Fight on both fronts bro
