This was an uncomfortable watch but it took me a little bit to put a finger on it. I think its the quick cuts coupled with the way the background morphs between those cuts. Any given shot looks good-enough, but when strung together they give the whole thing this kind of disconcerting unreality, like the uncanny valley but for video.
