They know and don't care. They're painting you as a villain.
I have people in my friend group who assumed i was a fascist because I don't have facebook or any social medja.

You should ask these people why they call you socialist.
80% of actual Mussolini fascism policies are basically just modern day socialism. Except the part they reject is being born in a nation (nacion=born) makes you part of a national identity. That's literally the one single thing they hate about fascism, everything else they are madly in love with.
So yeah ask them why they are bashing you as socialist.
I'm somewhat of a socialist myself. The nationalist kind.
