on a separate note, there is absolutely no way the chinese population is 1B. Under the single child policy most chinese had boys instead of girls, and furthermore in order to have 1B people now, each woman would have had to have something like 5 children each for the last 50 years until now. we already know that didnt happen
Yeah various estimates based on consumption of necessities and statistics give about 800 mil pre covid who knows how much more they lost during
honestly i dont even think its 800M, its probably 500M or even less. The math just doesnt add up to 1.whatever billion. but everyone can believe what they want.
