Both the UK and Japan are completely fucked. The UK is just simply further along the collapse. The Japanese have an outside shot of reversing the damage, but they have to get their birth rates up literally today, and they will not do it because The Thing and only The Thing that actually gets birth rates up, the japanese (or whities for that matter) will never do.
