Apparently this was in Guangzhou. He was taking pictures of attractive women, and when other people got up in his face about it, he decided to just pepper-spray the whole train car. Got his ass beat for it.
Hopefully having his organs harvested right now. Unless he comes from a powerful family
They'll still take his organs but just pretend he never existed.
It might actually not be, in Guangzhou. China seems to have passed a 2020 law saying that you can't make an image of someone without their consent.
Of course, I doubt the guy consented to having this video made; that law probably has exceptions.

Well, privacy is the enemy of free speech. You can't take a picture of a concert and say "this is something I love doing" if you have to get the express consent of everyone in the venue. Which makes it more difficult to express that feeling in an effective way.
America's not too big on free speech right now, but it likes the idea more than China does, that's for sure.
Nothing stops you from saying “I love going to concerts”. People have been expressing themselves for thousands of years before photography was invented.
If the government tells you how you must express yourself, that is not free speech.
