Yep, as an official pawn. The pawns name is Stella Kaiser, though the PS5 version only. It shouldn't be shocking, he became associates if not friends with Itsuno, he even did an interview with Itsuno in 2021 on his channel.

Fair enough, but for once it wasn't because of Soyny, Capcom made the decision themselves. Though just in case, Sony should still be blamed for it just because (I still hate them for forcing Ninja Gaiden Black censorship so badly that Team Ninja lost the source for Black 1).
