You aren't kidding. The consensus I see on short reaction clips over this game is men wanting to don a sweater and be the protective dad while Women are getting EXTREMELY broody and wanting a baby with a partner, Abe would be proud of the results!
Basically ANYTHING wholesome that reinforces INSTINCTUAL, BIOLOGICAL needs is bad for the completely ideological captured. You can show a picture of a dad, daughter on his lap reading a story with her and these people will out of nowhere accuse him of sexually assaulting her.
They're less inclined to do the same with mothers as they need to destroy the image of men being positive, protective fatherly figures as that is a very stabilising image.
